Another way of locating photographs of a building
is to think of prominent features or landmarks that are nearby.
Search for nearby churches, parks, schools, businesses, streets,
etc. In many cases, it is possible to enlarge a section of the photograph
to see the details in an area of interest.
Higher resolution images and enlarging capability are available
at workstations in the Western History/Genealogy Department of The
Denver Public Library and at the Colorado Historical Society. For more information
about obtaining photographic prints of enlarged details, see our page of
Print Resolution Examples and
contact our Photo
Sales Department.
