Cody wears a wide-brimmed hat, possibly a Stetson, and a long coat and is holding a cane in his right hand. Sioux Chief Rocky Bear stands next to Cody with a blanket around his waist. Many of the other Native Americans wear blankets wrapped around their shoulders. Phoebe Anne "Annie Oakley" Moses and her husband Frank Butler stand in the right midground.
