| Summary | William Frederick "Buffalo Bill" Cody stands in front of the Deadwood Stagecoach while John Y. Nelson, scout and driver of the stagecoach, sits on the top with two of his Sioux children. Jule Keen, treasurer of Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show, sits on the back of the coach. Buck Taylor, one of the star cowboys, and Bronco Bill, another star, stand in front of the coach. A Native American woman and child are next to Bronco Bill. The woman has a checkered blanket wrapped around her shoulders. John Burke, press agent, stands on the front of the coach. Young Johnny Baker, a big attraction in the show and foster son to Cody, stands between Cody and Fred Matthews, another driver of the coach. A landscape scene is painted on the backdrop behind the group. |
