Summary   Striking coal miners and family at Forbes Camp near Ludlow, Las Animas County, Colorado during the UMW labor strike against CF&I. Joe Zanatell stands in front of the chimney and wears a dark cap, two Prescot boys are in the front row, Mrs. Mosei and Emma Zanatell's sister with baby also in front row.

Notes   Title and "Zanatell tent at Forbes tent colony. Emma Zanatell (in tent) gave birth to twins. The babys died and while the people from the tent colony were in Trinidad burying them, the militia destroyed the tent colony at Forbes. Emma's tent was left because she was too sick to move. Joe Zanatell's wearing a dark cap, standing in front of the chimney. 2 boys in front row named Prescot. Mrs. Mosei and Emma's sister (holding her own newborn) also in front row." hand-written on back of print.
