The Empire Hook and Ladder Team float is at the corner; five firemen pull the ladder wagon holding a gazebo in which a costumed woman is seated. Landmarks include: Elliot House Hotel, Ennis House Hotel, American Hotel, the Dalgleish Photo Gallery, and the Cushman Block. An advertising poster reads: "Pyle's Pearline." Date 1897.
