Notes Title from typed paper adhered to back of photoprint; also reads: "of 1917. Powered with two 200 horse-power Hispano Suiza engines, this big bomber made 115 miles per hour and was capable of climbing to 16,500 ft. in 39 minutes," "This night bomber held two 270 hp Salmson 2.9 engines and could climb to 3,000 meters in 37.26 minutes. After its war service, it was converted for passenger carrying." Penciled: "Caudron C23 B.N.2., 270hp Salmson [?] night bomber at 6500' - 94 mph 13000' in 41 mins. Crew - pilot & 2 men."
Inked in corner of photo: "20287;" embossed: "Signal Corps USA."
