About the Digitization and Cataloging Program

at

The Denver Public Library

The Following information about the Denver Public Library's photo digitization and cataloging program has been modified from a report submitted to the National Endowment for the Humanities in June 2002. The report submitted to NEH summarized the activities and lessons learned during a five-year grant project.

Three options exist for you to use this information. The web version is an online, hyperlinked presentation that can be viewed live, or downloaded in its entirety as a .zip file for offline viewing. We also offer a .pdf file for printing in a book format.

Web Version | .ZIP Version 5.8 mgs | .PDF Version 2 mgs

When using the .zip file, save it anywhere you want ("Desktop" is preferable, so you can find it easily). Click on the icon, then choose "extract" - send its contents to a specific folder of your choosing. (Then you can delete the .zip file from your desktop.) Open and bookmark the file called: "launch.htm" - and there you have it.

To view .pdf file your computer must have Adobe Acrobat to preview and print it. Most computers have Acrobat software already installed - if yours doesn't, visit Adobe Acrobat.

For questions about using the zip or pdf files, contact support. For questions about the NEH grant report or the Photo Digitization Project in general, contact us.
